ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMODELAN MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA MATERI SPLTV KELAS X DITINJAU DARI GENDER

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical modeling ability of male students and female students by solving story problems on SPLTV material in terms of gender. This research was conducted in class X of SMA Persatuan, Tulangan. This study took 2 research subjects consisting of one male student and one female student. Data collection techniques using mathematical modeling tests and interviews. Data analysis in this study was carried out in several stages, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the mathematical modeling ability of male high school students in solving story problems knows information, understands problems, solves problems, selects information, uses methods of elimination, but men lack determination, accuracy, accuracy, and accuracy of thinking. while female high school students in solving story problems know information, understand problems, solve problems, choose information, use substitution methods, but women are superior in determination, accuracy, accuracy, and accuracy of thinking.
